Rabbi Shlomo Wolbe

Rabbi Shlomo Wolbe, born in 1914 in Berlin, Germany, was a renowned Orthodox rabbi and a prominent figure in the Mussar movement, a Jewish ethical, educational, and cultural movement. After studying in secular institutions, he embraced Orthodox Judaism, studying at the Hildesheimer Rabbinical Seminary in Berlin and later at the Mir Yeshiva in Poland. Rabbi Wolbe is best known for his teachings on Jewish ethics and personal development, which he imparted to his many students during his tenure as a leading educator in Israel. He authored several influential works on Jewish thought and Mussar, including the well-known 'Alei Shur'. Rabbi Wolbe's teachings continue to inspire students of Jewish philosophy and ethics around the world.
