The “Iron Swords” War, which broke out on October 7, 2023, was planned over many years as an Iranian master-plan: a multi-front surprise war intended to destroy Israel.

In this book (a continuation of his previous book, “Awakening the Lion” - written before the war and intended as a warning to Israel), Dr. Yair Ansbacher describes in great detail what could have happened — and was in fact planned to happen — in Israel, God forbid, had the original Iranian plan been carried out as intended. He also explains how a series of “strategic miracles” that occurred since the outbreak of the war and throughout its course completely disrupted the enemy’s plans and granted Israel fantastic achievements which, with God’s help, will lead to a remarkable military victory and to Israel’s transformation into a global power.

Dr. Ansbacher, a devout Jew, has spent many years researching modern warfare and the realms of counter-terrorism. His doctoral dissertation focused on the contribution of special operations forces to modern warfare. He is a graduate of the elite IDF commando unit Maglan and of a classified special unit under the General Staff. He currently serves as an advisor to the IDF and the Israeli security establishment. In addition, he took part as a reserve combat soldier in the battles of cleansing and containment on October 7th, as part of the IDF’s counter-terrorism unit.

The book also tells his personal story as a soldier, a military expert, and a public advocate for Israel, who has lectured in many Jewish communities around the world.
