Team Manger

Jerusalem, Israel

We are looking for a proactive and organized Team Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure smooth coordination between departments. The ideal candidate will be both a people leader and a systems thinker—someone who can manage and motivate the team while also helping to identify, streamline, and optimize business processes across the company. 

This is a part-time position with a minimum-hour requirement. Please only apply if you can commit to 30 hours a week or more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support day-to-day activities of the sales, customer service, and fulfillment teams.
  • Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and ensure high standards of performance and professionalism.
  • Develop and maintain efficient workflows for order management, inventory, and customer communication.
  • Coordinate on-the-ground schedule changes
  • Serve as a bridge between management and staff, ensuring clear communication and alignment with company goals.
  • Foster a positive, solution-oriented, customer-focused work culture. 
  • Collaborate with management to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in internal systems and help implement improvements.

Must Have

  • 2+ years of experience in team leadership, operations, or retail management (book industry a plus)
  • Experience in a retail environment
  • Tech-savvy, with experience using or optimizing systems such as POS, CRM, or project management software
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to balance big-picture goals with day-to-day details.
  • Fluent in English 
  • Hebrew Proficient
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills. 
  • Strongly developed multi-tasking skills
  • Experience with using AI to optimize workflows, or the ability to independently learn how.
  • Israeli Citizenship or Work Visa for Israel

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a bookstore, publishing, or e-commerce environment.
  • Understanding of process improvement methodologies
  • Interest in books, Judaica, or academic publishing.
  • Learning experience in a seminary or yeshiva environment
  • Fluent Hebrew
