Rabbi Benzion Uziel (1880–1953)—Chief Rabbi of Tel Aviv–Jaffa and later Sephardic Chief Rabbi of the Land of Israel (1938–1953)—was a major Torah authority and public leader whose teachings remain underappreciated.
