Sharon Lechter

Sharon Lechter is an American accountant, author, and businesswoman, co-author of 'Rich Dad Poor Dad.' Born on January 12, 1954, in Florida, Lechter is a prominent advocate for financial literacy and has dedicated much of her career to improving financial education. She graduated with a magna cum laude degree in accounting from Florida State University and began her career at a small accounting firm. Lechter's passion for education and personal finance led her to join forces with Robert Kiyosaki to write 'Rich Dad Poor Dad.' She has also served on the first President's Advisory Council on Financial Literacy, helping create policies to boost financial education.
