Robert Kiyosaki

Robert Toru Kiyosaki is an American businessman and author known for his book 'Rich Dad Poor Dad'—a worldwide bestseller and a cornerstone for many who wish to become financially literate. Born on April 8, 1947, in Hilo, Hawaii, Kiyosaki is the son of a teacher and an educator himself. He served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, which influenced his perspective on business and investment. After the war, he started a company that brought to market the first nylon and Velcro 'surfer' wallets, which became a multi-million dollar product. He later founded the Rich Dad Company, which provides personal finance and business education to people through books and videos.
