Judith R Baskin

Judith R. Baskin is the Knight Professor of Humanities Emerita at the University of Oregon, where she served as the Director of Judaic Studies from 1998 to 2015. Her academic focus includes Jewish women's studies, medieval Jewish history, and the cultural and social experiences of Jews in medieval Christian Europe. Baskin has authored and edited several books and articles in her field, contributing significantly to the understanding of Jewish women's roles and representations in historical contexts.
