Malbim
Throughout his career, Malbim faced significant opposition, which often resulted in him moving from one community to another. Despite these challenges, he continued to write and preach, leaving a lasting impact on Jewish biblical interpretation. His commentary is particularly valued for its linguistic analysis and its attempt to demonstrate that the rabbinic understanding of the Bible is firmly rooted in the text itself. Malbim passed away in 1879 in Romania, leaving behind a legacy as a passionate defender of traditional Judaism and a master of biblical exegesis.
