Jonathan Baumbach
Jonathan Baumbach (1933–2019) was an American author and critic, co-founder of the Fiction Collective, an author-run publishing house that focused on innovative and experimental fiction. His literary work is known for its narrative experimentation and often explores complex emotional and familial relationships. Baumbach was also a professor of English at Brooklyn College, where he influenced many young writers. His novels and short stories are marked by their introspective style and often blur the lines between reality and fiction, reflecting his interest in the psychological depths of his characters.
