Rabbi Zvi Yehuda Kook
Rabbi Zvi Yehuda Kook was the son of Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Kook and a prominent rabbi and religious Zionist thinker in his own right. Born in 1891 in Zaumel, Lithuania, he later moved to Palestine where he became a leading figure in the Mercaz HaRav yeshiva, originally established by his father. Rabbi Zvi Yehuda was known for his passionate teachings that emphasized the role of the State of Israel in the redemption process, deeply influencing the religious Zionist movement and its youth, particularly through his interpretations of his father's writings.
