Rabbi David Pardo

Rabbi David Pardo was a prominent 18th-century rabbi and scholar, born in 1719 in Jerusalem, then part of the Ottoman Empire. He is best known for his works in Jewish law and liturgy, particularly his commentaries on the Mishnah and other rabbinic texts. Rabbi Pardo's scholarship was deeply rooted in the Sephardic traditions, and he served as a rabbi in various communities across the Ottoman Empire, including Sarajevo and Amsterdam, where he influenced many through his teachings and writings.
