Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Alter

Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Alter, also known as the Chidushei Harim, was the founder of the Ger Hasidic dynasty. Born in 1799 in Magnuszew, Poland, he became a leading figure in the world of Jewish scholarship and spirituality. His works are celebrated for their deep insight into the Talmud and Jewish law. Rabbi Alter was known for his piety and his innovative approach to Hasidic Judaism, which emphasized both learning and ethical conduct. He passed away in 1866, leaving a lasting legacy through his teachings and the dynasty he established.
