Michael J Broyde
Michael J. Broyde is a professor of law at Emory University School of Law and a senior fellow at the Center for the Study of Law and Religion at Emory University. He is a member of the Beth Din of America, the largest Jewish law court in America. Broyde has published numerous articles and books on various topics related to Jewish law and ethics. His academic work focuses on the intersection of religious law and secular law in the modern world, as well as issues related to marriage, divorce, and the ethics of war. Broyde received his Juris Doctor from New York University and his rabbinic ordination from Yeshiva University. He has been a visiting professor at various institutions and has delivered lectures on Jewish law across the globe.
