Fouad Ajami
Fouad Ajami was a prominent Lebanese-American scholar, writer, and commentator on Middle Eastern politics. Born on September 19, 1945, in Arnoun, Lebanon, Ajami emigrated to the United States in 1963. He pursued his higher education at Eastern Oregon University and later earned a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Washington.
Ajami's expertise in Middle Eastern affairs was widely respected. He served as a professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and was a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution. His work often explored the dynamics of political change in the Arab world, and he was a frequent contributor to major publications and television programs, providing insights into the complexities of Middle Eastern politics.
