Rabbi Ian Haim Pear

Rabbi Ian Pear is originally from the United States and moved to Israel, where he founded the Shir Hadash congregation in Jerusalem. He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and received his rabbinical ordination from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel and the Shalom Hartman Institute. Rabbi Pear is known for his dynamic teaching style and innovative approaches to Jewish education.

In addition to leading Shir Hadash, Rabbi Pear is also the founder of the Jerusalem Seminary, an institution that offers classes on Jewish texts, philosophy, and leadership.
