Jan Berenstain

Jan Berenstain, along with her husband Stan, was the co-creator of the beloved children's book series, The Berenstain Bears. Born in 1923 in Philadelphia, Jan attended the Philadelphia Museum School of Industrial Art, where she met Stan, who was also studying art.
