Rabbi Nathan Sternhartz

Rabbi Nathan Sternhartz (1780-1844), also known as Reb Noson, was a leading disciple and scribe of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, the founder of the Breslov Hasidic movement. Reb Noson is best known for his role in preserving and expanding the teachings of Rabbi Nachman, which he achieved through his writings and organizational efforts. After Rabbi Nachman's death, Reb Noson gathered his teachings and published them, and he also authored many original works that elaborated on his master's spiritual insights. His efforts were crucial in establishing the Breslov movement as a lasting presence in the world of Jewish thought.
