Rabbi David Cohen
Rabbi David Cohen, also known as HaRav HaNazir (The Nazirite Rabbi), was born in 1887 in Belarus and passed away in 1972 in Jerusalem. He was a unique figure in Jewish religious and philosophical circles, known for his ascetic lifestyle and his deep Kabbalistic studies. Rabbi Cohen was a disciple of Rabbi Abraham Isaac Kook, the first Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of British Mandatory Palestine, and he was deeply influenced by his teachings. His commitment to a life of spiritual purity and his extensive knowledge in Jewish mysticism and philosophy distinguished him in the religious community.
