Rabbeinu Asher

Rabbeinu Asher, commonly known as the Rosh, was a prominent medieval Jewish scholar. He was born in Germany around 1250 and later moved to Spain, where he became a leading rabbinic authority. His works have had a significant influence on Jewish law. The Rosh's legal decisions and responsa are considered foundational texts in many Jewish communities, and his interpretations and rulings are often cited in later rabbinic works.
