Rabbi Chizkiyah ben Manoach

Rabbi Chizkiyah ben Manoach, commonly known as Chizkuni, was a 13th-century French rabbi and biblical commentator. He is best known for his commentary on the Torah, which is named after him. Chizkuni's work is distinguished by its attempt to provide peshat (simple and direct interpretations) of the biblical text, often incorporating linguistic insights and comparisons with other Semitic languages.
