Rav Shagar

Rav Shagar (Shimon Gershon Rosenberg) was an influential Israeli Orthodox rabbi and philosopher who lived from 1949 to 2007. He was known for his innovative thinking and for integrating postmodern philosophy with traditional Jewish thought. Rav Shagar served as the head of the Siach Yitzhak Yeshiva in Efrat, where he taught a combination of Talmudic study, Hasidic philosophy, and contemporary thought, aiming to make religious discourse relevant to modern life.
