Hava Tirosh-Samuelson

Hava Tirosh-Samuelson is a professor of history, Irving and Miriam Lowe Professor of Modern Judaism, and the Director of Jewish Studies at Arizona State University. Her academic focus includes Jewish intellectual history, religion and science, religion and ecology, and feminist philosophy. She has written extensively on the intersection of Jewish thought and philosophy, with a particular interest in the works of Maimonides and the concept of Jewish modernity. Tirosh-Samuelson's scholarship explores the complex interplay between science, religion, and ethics, aiming to bridge historical perspectives with contemporary concerns.
