Raul Hilberg

Raul Hilberg was an Austrian-born American political scientist and historian. He was widely considered to be the preeminent scholar on the Holocaust. Throughout his career, Hilberg specialized in the study of the Holocaust and was the author of several books on the subject, including his landmark work, 'The Destruction of the European Jews'. Hilberg's academic journey began at Brooklyn College where he earned his bachelor's degree, followed by a master's degree and Ph.D. from Columbia University.
