Jon Meacham

Jon Meacham is an American writer and historian, known for his biographies and studies of the American presidency. He won the Pulitzer Prize for Biography or Autobiography in 2009 for his book 'American Lion: Andrew Jackson in the White House.' Meacham is a former executive editor and executive vice president at Random House, and he has written for The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Time magazine, where he served as managing editor.
