Miriam Roth

Miriam Roth was a prominent Israeli writer and scholar of children's books, education, and psychology. Born on February 16, 1910, in Slovakia, she moved to Israel in 1931, where she became a significant figure in the field of children's literature and preschool education. Roth studied at the University of Vienna and later at the Teachers' Institute of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Throughout her career, Roth published numerous beloved children's books, including the famous 'A Tale of Five Balloons', which has become a classic in Israeli children's literature. Her works often focus on the emotional and social development of children, blending educational theories with engaging narratives.
