Barack Obama

Barack Obama served as the 44th President of the United States from 2009 to 2017. Born on August 4, 1961, in Honolulu, Hawaii, Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he was the president of the Harvard Law Review. He worked as a community organizer, civil rights attorney, and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School before serving three terms in the Illinois State Senate from 1997 to 2004.

During his presidency, Obama implemented several key policies including the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, aimed at expanding healthcare coverage to millions of uninsured Americans. He also took significant steps in environmental conservation, including the signing of the Paris Agreement on climate change. His administration also focused on financial reforms following the 2008 financial crisis and ended military involvement in Iraq.
