Ari Folman

Ari Folman is an Israeli film director, screenwriter, and film score composer. He is perhaps best known for his 2008 animated documentary film 'Waltz with Bashir', as well as for writing and directing the live-action/animated film 'The Congress'. He has received several awards for his work, including a Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film. Folman was born in Haifa, Israel, and later studied at the Tel Aviv University Film and Television Department. After his studies, he ventured into the world of filmmaking, gaining recognition for his unique style that often blends animation with live-action.
