Shalom Sharabi

Rabbi Shalom Sharabi, also known as the Rashash, was born in 1720 in Yemen and died in 1777 in Jerusalem. He is best known for his profound kabbalistic teachings and writings, becoming the head of the famed Bet El Yeshiva in Jerusalem, which focused on the study of Kabbalah. Sharabi's contributions to Jewish mysticism are monumental, with his kabbalistic prayer book, the Siddur HaRashash, being widely used in Kabbalistic yeshivas.
