Alice Hoffman
Alice Hoffman is an American novelist and young-adult and children's writer, best known for her novel 'Practical Magic', which was adapted into a 1998 film of the same name. Hoffman's work is known for its adept use of magical realism and its deep exploration of the lives of women, often through themes of magic and the supernatural. Born on March 16, 1952, in New York City, she has written more than thirty novels and several short story collections.
