Shalom Carmy

Shalom Carmy is an Orthodox rabbi and Jewish philosopher who teaches Jewish studies and philosophy at Yeshiva University, where he holds the position of Assistant Professor of Jewish Philosophy and Bible. His academic interests include biblical studies, the philosophy of religion, and the ethical and philosophical issues in modern society and warfare. Rabbi Carmy is also the editor of Tradition, a journal of Orthodox Jewish thought published by the Rabbinical Council of America.
